Service provider categories

Overview

Velocity uses carefully selected third-party service providers to operate the platform. These providers support database and authentication, media infrastructure, object storage, CDN delivery, web hosting, error monitoring, and transactional email. Business customers may request more detailed subprocessor information as part of the Data Processing Agreement.

Categories we use

• Database and authentication provider: Accounts, sign-in, and application data.
• Media infrastructure provider: Real-time audio and video for sessions and streams.
• Object storage provider: Storage of recordings and uploaded files.
• CDN delivery provider: Delivery of live-stream media to viewers.
• Web hosting provider: Hosting and delivery of the web application.
• Error monitoring provider: Application error and crash reporting.
• Transactional email provider: Account and notification emails.

Where data is processed

Velocity's primary application systems and storage are operated in European regions. Where service providers support delivery, security, or technical operation of the platform, we use contractual and organisational safeguards appropriate to the processing.

Changes

We keep our use of providers under review. For business customers under a Data Processing Agreement, we provide a detailed subprocessor appendix on request and give notice of intended changes so there is an opportunity to object on reasonable data protection grounds.
